Providing Opportunities to Excel in the Study of God’s Word
Heritage University and Seminary was established in 2006 in Kissimmee, Florida. Drs. Gary and Janis Smith founded Heritage University and Seminary as an option for individuals to pursue a Christian education at the university level. Their vision was to provide a university where individuals could be inspired to pursue and excel in the study of God’s Word and mature through the Holy Spirit into Christ-like leaders.
Heritage University and Seminary offers academic programs for students from all walks of life to prepare them to serve in the Christian Community. Our goal is to provide excellence at the undergraduate and graduate levels of Christian study. The established programs and curricula are designed to make the student’s education a fulfilling experience. Discipleship with impartation and activation of the student’s callings and gifts is viewed as vital for the student to fulfill his or her God-given potential in the Kingdom of God.
Heritage University and Seminary offers programs under the authorized academic supervision of individuals with excellent credentials and experience.
We offer undergraduate and graduate degrees in two areas of ministry.
Christian Leadership
Be trained and equipped for positions of leadership within the Christian church. Receive a comprehensive grasp of the general foundational knowledge of the Bible, identify the foundational gifts of the Holy Spirit, its fruit and gifts, and learn to activate these supernatural gifts for Christian service within the church and the kingdom.
Pastoral Ministry
Become qualified as pastoral staff, associate pastors and pastors within the Christian church with course work emphasizing pastoral training. The Biblical core courses are designed to provide a comprehensive grasp of the structure, content and teachings of the Bible; to guide you into the personal study of the Bible; and to teach you how to research a Biblical topic for sermon development.
